Jon Anthony Perrotti is a writer of poetry, short stories, and science fiction including the Barren trilogy, an alternate world sci-fi series about an androgynous race whose survival is threatened by an epidemic of genetic infertility. Written for an audience with a particular interest in sexual minority and gender issues, the trilogy is published in dual formats, one using feminine pronouns and the other masculine. Perrotti is a former teacher who taught Japanese, English, and Special Education. He currently lives with two cats in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
